Australian stocks are expected to start off lower. Although equities were expected to settle higher in New York, choppy trading resulted in big changes as the session went on.
ASX futures fell 6753 points, or 29 points, or 0.43 percent.
- Dow + 1.1%, S&P + 1.2% on Wall Street +0.9% Nasdaq
- BHP is down 1% in New York. Rio -0.9% -1.6% for Atlassian
- Tesla +0.4% Apple +0.9% +2.3% on Amazon
Bitcoin’s price on bitstamp.net fell 0.7% to US$19,365.
At 4.59 pm in New York, the yield on the US 10-year note ended unchanged at 4.01%.
Even though there was still bumpy trading on Wall Street, shares ended up rising.
