Ford Motor is slashing the price of its electric Mustang Mach-E by an average of $US4500 in response to Tesla’s own recent cuts. The discount comes on a model that Ford has already described as unprofitable, but the automaker said it hopes to offset further margin deterioration by boosting production 67 per cent this year.
Johnson & Johnson’s strategy to use bankruptcy to resolve its multibillion-dollar litigation over claims its talc products cause cancer was rejected by a federal appeals court, which dismissed a bankruptcy petition by its talc subsidiary.

The two leaders discussed “cooperation within OPEC+ to provide the stability of global oil market” and bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic and energy sectors.
